Looking for the advantage of today’s globle game? Well you are in the right place my geographic explorer.

That globe game is one of WePC’s favorite ways of hesitating in the office when we’re supposed to write about PC builds, gaming laptops, monitors or peripherals.

So writing this page gives us the opportunity to say that we are indeed working and that’s reason enough to write it, but we hope you can take something away from it too.

What is Today’s Global Answer? hints for you

If you’re from the western world, this should be an easy peeler. However, if you want to make sure you keep your streak alive, here are a few hot Hints.

Today’s Global Answer (July 28, 2022)

  • A notice: The home of berets, baguettes and the Bastille.
  • First letter: f

How to play the Globe game

The premise of the game is simple: you have to guess the mysterious land with as few tries as possible. After each tap, you’ll get an indication of how far away your selection was, both in the form of a numerical distance in km and a color representation (the closer to red/the deeper the shade of red, the closer you are). You must spell the country name correctly and the game will not correct your answer for you if it is wrong.

Global vs. Globe spelling

Global is the correct spelling of the word “relating to the whole world; worldwide’ in either US English, UK English or some other form of English. Bullet but it’s called the fun Wordle-style geography game (what were they doing?) – it’s a global game, but it’s called the Globle Game.

Can I play previous Globle games?

If you missed a previous Globle challenge, there is a workaround that allows you to play the previous day’s games.

All you have to do is go to your Settings/Preferences menu in Windows and change the date to match the day of the challenge you wish to participate in. Once you have this set up, refresh the Globle page in your browser and you can play the previous challenge!

Competitive Globle game

We at WePC are a competitive bunch, so we like to compete with each other every day to find the Globle answer with as few guesses as possible. To reduce the random element a bit and increase the impact of raw geographic knowledge, we all guess the answer to the previous day’s challenge for the first time each day – why not do it in your office too and dominate your colleagues with every candy? Victory.

Goble game top tips

Below are some expert tips from some seasoned veterans on how to improve your Globle game. Observe them well. Many of these tips can be more fun to come up with than just telling you. However, if you get beat up by other people in your office on a regular basis and want to up your game, take in the following:

Some countries don’t count

  • Overseas territories do not count: For example, French Guiana is not a valid country selection as it is considered part of France. However, it doesn’t count in terms of distance if you select France – e.g. B. if the mystery country is marked as <10 km from France, this would not include neighboring Guyana as a possible answer, only those adjacent to mainland France. Overseas territories are always highlighted in white when the primary country is selected.
  • Member countries do not count: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are all part of the UK but not valid answers. Only the large sovereign state (in this case: the United Kingdom) counts as an answer.

Are Global Response Countries repeated?

We’ve been playing the game for a few months now and haven’t seen a country repeat itself, but eventually since there are only 195 sovereign states in the world (depending on who you ask) they have to be. We’re not sure if the response system is completely random or if it’s human interference, but the longer we play the better we’ll get a picture.

The best starting country for the Global Game?

There is no single country that we can say is the best starting country as it really depends on what the answer is each day.

What we can say is that It’s usually best to avoid larger countries that border many other countries to make your first choice, as these won’t help you narrow your answer. Russia, for example, is probably the worst starting country to pick as it is the largest country in the world spanning two continents.

General, It’s a good idea to choose a starting country on either the Pacific or Atlantic bordersinstead of being in the middle of a continent, as if the closest country wasn’t far from your first choice, the second answer gives you a smaller number of countries to choose from (unless there’s a ton of island nations off the coast).

Know your distances

The true competitive Globle players have a good sense of how far apart certain countries/continents are on the map. If you don’t have a visual reference for how far away 5,000km is on the world map, you’ll waste a lot of guesswork. It’s a good idea to get

How many global conjectures are there?

There is no limit to the number of guesses you are allowed in Globle, other than the number of countries that exist. This means there is a hard cap of 197 on the number of countries you can guess, although this doesn’t count countries you can guess and aren’t counted as valid/incorrect.
