That 6th Annual Moss Fest Summer Showcase Tour stops at American Legion Post 232 in North Augusta on Wednesday, August 3 from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The tour gives independent artists from the United States the opportunity to perform abroad. For those looking for a good meal with some outdoor fun this is it BBQ & Sweet Tea Festival will be held on Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Generations Park at 1596 Columbia Highway North in Aiken. Guests will enjoy food and sweet tea from chefs and barbecue grills competing for the crown for the best ribs, Boston butts and other delicacies. Southbound Smokehouse organizes one “End of Summer Luau” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, August 6 at the Riverside Village Restaurant at 1009 Center St. in North Augusta. Between a drink from the beer garden and listening to the live music, guests can enjoy limbo and hula hoop competitions. Themed party attire is recommended.
In downtown Augusta first friday is back this week, where guests can shop for groceries and goods from local vendors, listen to live music and enjoy the sights and sounds of Broad Street throughout the evening. Among the artists featured will be the Fire Dancers from Arcane Arts at 8pm at the intersection of Broad Street and 11th Street.
