Ariana Grande’s REM Beauty has released a new collection. This includes a total of 60 different shades of concealer, including white and black. However, what fans have noticed more is the range of lip oils the singer has released. This includes a specific hue that may honor Mac Miller.
Although the singer hasn’t commented on whether her “Pickin Petals” lip oil is a tribute to the late rapper, Ariana has honored him on several occasions. Many of their tracks “Positions” and “Thank U, Next” contain mentions of their two-year relationship.
Mac Miller and Ariana have known each other since 2012 after collaborating on a Christmas carol. Since then, their friendship has led to the two working together a second and third time. In 2016, both musicians made their relationship official, but it only lasted two years.
However, the heartbreaking news of Mac’s death in 2018 — four months after their split — hit Ariana deeply. Since then, the 29-year-old singer has paid tribute to the rapper with her music.

The heartbreaking death of Mac Miller
Mac Miller passed away on September 7, 2018 at the age of 26. The rapper was found unresponsive by his assistant at his Los Angeles home. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene, although his assistant performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
Two months later, the autopsy revealed the rapper’s cause of death is listed as an accidental drug overdose due to mixed drug toxicity. Fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol were found in his system, NBC writes. Mac was scheduled for a video shoot on the day of his death and was scheduled to start his swimming tour that same year.
Two years after Mac’s death, his 2020 album Circles was released posthumously.
