The key to retrieving text messages

The best way to retrieve deleted messages is to access an older backup of your phone. You can do this for your iPhone via iCloud.

There is one major caveat that you must be aware of: if you restore your phone to a previous backup, you will lose new data after this fuse.

Well, it’s worth noting that these steps don’t always work. If you swipe, you can try contacting your phone provider. It can possibly recover deleted messages for you.

Do you have an iPhone? Turn on iCloud and iCloud Backup

On an iPhone, you have access to 5 GB of free storage space. You’ll likely need to upgrade to an iCloud+ plan to store multiple backups and all your photos and videos. See prices and tiers here.

To retrieve deleted texts on an iPhone, you need to turn on iCloud Drive and iCloud Backup. How to enable Drive.

Turn on iCloud Drive by going to settings.

Then select yours AppleID.

Thereafter, Tap iCloud.

Last, Turn on iCloud Drive.

After that, you need to turn on iCloud Backup. Do this by opening settings > Choose yours AppleID > type iCloud and select iCloud backup.

How to get back deleted texts on iPhone

Remember that if you access an old backup, you are restoring your iPhone to old settings. This could cause some problems. If you’re willing to risk it, follow these steps to see if you have a backup available:

Go to settings.

choose yours AppleID.

Beat iCloud > manage storage > fuses.

Next, follow these steps to use this backup to restore your phone:

Go to settings > General > Reset to default.

Choose Erase all content and settings.

Beat Restore from iCloud backup.

log in with your Apple ID and tap Choose Backup.

Your phone will be restored to its previous version. Now you can start searching ancient texts.

This method won’t work if you’ve never backed up your iPhone to iCloud before.
